The design and build of this face cradle is superior to your standard model. The thick body and metallic inserts mean this face cradle will outlast and out-preform others in terms of comfort, stability, and durability. This allows the cushion to reduce forehead and cheekbone pressure to create a maximum comfort embrace. Angle is adjustable, treat your massage clients to the customized comfortable.
Having an ergonomic face cradle means the face cushion conforms to your client’s face, reducing lines and wrinkles, while also providing the most support without putting too much pressure on the face. Most face cradles are flat and tend to wear down more easily due to uneven pressure.
It’s compatible with all of our massage tables. Our Headrest can tilt to any desired angle and can be adjusted vertically to custom fit large bodied clients.
ABS Plastic as the Material
ABS plastic or called Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene is an amorphous, impact-resistant, opaque thermoplastic that is widely used in massage table accessories or other industries. It has high tensile strength and is very resistant to physical impacts and chemical corrosion. It can therefore allow our Face Cradle to withstand heavy use and adverse environmental conditions.
As compared with PVC, this ABS is stronger and more shock resistant. It can be better at handling severely cold conditions.
Some Reminders When Use
Adjustable face cradles are designed to provide a comfortable and secure support for the face (and arms, if using a prone armrest attachment). It is not designed to support body weight. Ensure patients are instructed not to use the face cradle as an aid when they mount, dismount or reposition themselves on the table.
Adjustable angle face cradles must also be correctly tensioned. Maintaining the correct tensioning of the adjustable angle mechanism will avoid the adjustment mechanism slipping during use.
If your adjustable angle face cradle mechanism is starting to slip during use you may have damaged the mechanism teeth and if this is the case it will need to be replaced. To avoid this periodically check the tension and adjust as required.
