The arm of our Apex Face Cradle is made of hardened steel which is much more durable than pipes or tubes made out of other materials. Its strength enables it to withstand vibration, shock and high pressure, making it the best option for the product.
A bumpy textured powder coated hammer-tone finish is applied on its surface. This provides a protective barrier that helps prevent corrosion. Unlike other treatments that can easily crack, peel, chip, scratch and corrode, powder coated steel frame is more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing. This is made more durable and withstands the environment better.
ABS Plastic Material as the Frame
ABS plastic or called Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene is an amorphous, impact-resistant, opaque thermoplastic that is widely used in massage table accessories or other industries. It has high tensile strength and is very resistant to physical impacts and chemical corrosion. It can therefore allow our Face Cradle to withstand heavy use and adverse environmental conditions.
As compared with PVC, this ABS is stronger and more shock resistant. It can be better at handling severely cold conditions.
