Our Finished Moist Heat Packs

After filling up our empty packs with the formulated and filtered bentonite clay, then add with predefined processing steps, they become a very durable, allergic prove moist heat packs.

Our moist heat packs are a simple and effective method of applying moist heat to the treatment area. Patients and clients alike enjoy the benefits of reduced pain, reduced stiffness in painful joint, then increased range of motion. Not only can hot packs be used to increase comfort, let’s say after a difficult fitness training or rehabilitation session, scientific research has found multiple therapeutic benefits that aid in recovery for diverse injuries and chronic conditions.

The packs contain filling that evenly distributes, provide up to 30 minutes of deep-felt, soothing, moist heat to soothe discomfort from stiff neck, backache, arthritis, sprains and bruises. The treatment will progress much faster with this great way to deliver moist heat to arm, neck, upper shoulder, back, knee, ankle or other position of the body. Incorporating with heavy duty nylon threading makes the packs stronger, bentonite fillers are locked inside which are unable to leak. 100 percent cotton/canvas cover makes them a even more comfortable and a durable pack.

The unique filler inside is non-toxic biodegradable formulated and filtered BENTONITE CLAY, a natural hydrocolloid filling.

Bentonite clay benefits the body because it has the ability to produce a charge that is electrical in nature when it comes in contact with liquid. When the clay touches any type of fluid (normally water), it takes on a different charge and is thought to bind to any present toxins within the fluid.

While in its natural state, bentonite clay has negatively charged molecules. Most toxins and heavy metals have positively charged molecules. This allows the two to bind together easily and stay united while the toxin removal process happens.

BENTONITE CLAY essentially “seeks” toxins in the body to bind with because naturally any substance that has a missing ion (which gives it its “charge”) looks for oppositely charged types of substances that will make it complete. Upon binding, the clay is then able to help remove toxins, chemicals, impurities and “heavy metals” from the gut, skin and mouth.

When Should We Use Heat Therapy?

Heat or Moist Heat Therapy should be used for chronic conditions such as muscle discomfort or stiffness. It is true that for some people, nothing soothes their back pain is as good as hot pack. Heat therapy can also be used before exercise to increase the flexibility of joints and to increase blood flow. Just should not use heat therapy after exercise, instead using cold therapy. Because heat therapy increases circulation and increases the skin temperature, it should not be used when there is any swelling or inflammation.
