Black Urethane Cold Packs

Our BLACK URETHANE COLD PACKS are made of  versatile thermoplastic polyurethane layer for the exterior. This extra fine quality material is particularly  good in elasticity, resistance to oil, grease, abrasion, weldibility, and also outdoor durability.

Furthermore, its nature is kind of thermoplastic elastomer that consists of linear segmented block co-polymers with hard and soft segments which has extremely good hand feel and durability. It therefore has properties between the characteristics of plastic and rubber and has several benefits over other elastomers, particularly suitable for cold therapy application, such as:

Comfort and abrasion resistance

– UV and weather resistance

– Environmental friendly

– Excellent tensile strength

– High elongation at break

– Good load bearing capacity

Durable against microbial attack

Then what’s inside? The packs are filled with formulated non-toxic biodegradable bentonite clay, a natural hydrocolloid filling. These packs are particularly designed for heavy-duty application, provide a very effective cold therapy to a localized area.

Why Bentonite Filler Inside Can Benefit The Body?

Because it has the ability to produce a charge that is electrical in nature when it comes in contact with liquid. When the clay touches any type of fluid (normally water), it takes on a different charge and is thought to bind to any present toxins within the fluid.

While in its natural state, bentonite clay has negatively charged molecules. Most toxins and heavy metals have positively charged molecules. This allows the two to bind together easily and stay united while the toxin removal process happens.

Bentonite Clay essentially “seeks” toxins in the body to bind with because naturally any substance that has a missing ion (which gives it its “charge”) looks for oppositely charged types of substances that will make it complete. Upon binding, the clay is then able to help remove toxins, chemicals, impurities and “heavy metals” from the gut, skin and mouth.

Applying COLD THERAPY to reduce swelling that can effectively treat strains, sprains, headaches, or other soft tissue injury.

The packs are characterized in providing safe and effective cold treatment for pain relief or therapy. It can provide up to 30 minutes of soothing cool relief to help reduce swelling, inflammation and pain from joint and muscle injury. It also helps relieve pain associated with injury due to sprains and strains.

Inside clay remains pliable and soft even below freezing throughout use to target specific areas. Thus even in the cold, the packs can still be kept soft and flexible. This is a special reusable cold therapy product on a very effective and economical treatments.

In addition, the extra fine quality urethane surface can easily be wiped clean as required, making it ideal and a convenient pack for clinical and home uses. As a matter of convenience on storage, these can simply be put in refrigerator after use and are reusable.
